LOL, price drop to $8,000 for factory Benz wheels on a BMW forum and not even the right bolt pattern. You could buy 99% of any forged wheel set ups you want and wrap them in PSS's.

Before you jump the gun and step on your BMW high horse let me explain how these rims work. Mercedes will not sell you a set of the SLS BLACK SERIES rims unless you physically show them a rim damaged beyond point of repair. I was fortunate enough to get a complete brand new set with out having to do that. This has value to some one that wants to keep OEM look on their car and not ruin it with some aftermarket drop cast pot metal wheel.

And they are Pilot Sport Cups not Pilot Super Sports

Yea well the Black Series AMG is a $340,000 car so list price on these rims are over $10,000 and they are very hard to get like I stated in the previous response.

$8000? I seriously think you're selling too cheap. They are off an SLS AMG, and not just an SLS AMG, a Black Series. They've never been mounted/used and like you said you can't even buy them unless Mercedes says you can. Plus they are wrapped in Pilot Sport Cups! This is a deal!

No BMW high horse here, I drive a cheap 3 series. Just curious who is going to spend $8,000 on factory wheels that wouldn't fit any E9X on an E9X forum. I'm sure they're valuable, but the majority of folks looking to spend 5K plus on wheels are looking at high end aftermarket forged wheels... Or at least wheels that fit their car.

I can't think of anyone that owns an SLS, that doesn't own multiple cars. Chances are pretty high that they may even own a BMW, or have a friend that owns one.

Like myself, I do know one person that owns an SLS, just not a black series here in Denver. I will relay the info onto him, there are those with SLS's that drool over black series parts. Damn, Pilot Sport Cups puts a happy face on me, I remember seeing them pull up the paint from the airstrip we used to auto-x at.

Chevy did something similar with their older SLP camaros I believe. Ford did it also with the SVT Cobra R, had to show not just proof of ownership, but a damaged part to get a replacement.

BTW good luck with sale....

Tires alone are $2k....GLWS... I unfortunately do not own an SLS.... If I did however they would be a nice addition try posting them on 6speed if you haven't already you should be able to find a buyer faster than on here.
