The list I would find really useful basically consist of four columns:
1. List of values available to log (data log list)
2. Explanation of the values in col. 1
3. General intervals for what the logged values should look like (proper intervals)
4. Possible explanations for deviations from "proper intervals"

There should be a list of this kind somewhere, but where is it? And yes, I have tried searching.

Cheers,
OB
I guess I'm not following...rader1's OP in this very thread does exactly this, no? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding what you're requesting...
The first post explains the standard values, as I stated I'm looking a complementary list - all values in one list, not only the standards.

I think OP did an awesome job and it's of great help to me. But maybe it's just me that like having excel sheets with all necesarry information to let the formulas do the analysis for me..

the only thing you need to log are the std. values. if you use E85 add STFT.
if you have TPS closures add as well maf req ... and boost setpoint.
In order to understand how to read and what are the proper one you need to read a lot here and learn.
Also check the ATR pdf how to that cobb did. lots of explanations there
I know this, but to speed up the learning process it would be helpful to have most of it in one place.

it may appear to be a lot to tackle, but after a few reads and logging, it won't appear to be so much to take on.

Haha... I was getting some logs yesterday and wanted to easily find this thread. I did just miss one of the biggest pot holes while doing a pull (thankfully)

I am getting throttle closures for some reason. I'll post that shortly. I had an AP previously running stage 2+ and never had that problem. I'm on stage 1 sport running 93oct, so I'm kinda surprised.

Throttle closure are typically due to over boosting. You may need to dial back your WGDC in ATR. If its small enough the DME will correct. Jump up to Agg. And see what that looks like. Are you 4.1?

The map I'm using (Stg1 ST Sport I8A0S v401) looks to be the most recent. I'll give Agg a shot to see.
Timing, then Load Values then WGDC below.

Most of us prefer the csv file.

Yep, traction control was completely off. I actually took the logs because I thought it was my tranny (that's what it felt like). But it looks like it's computer related. I'll take some new logs with the Aggressive map in 3rd. Likely tomorrow as it's raining like the end of the world now

Hi guys, looking for some comments here … I’m pretty much a newb when it comes to car tuning but I’m a quick learner lol. (I’ve been lurking forums for a few years).

I’ve logged and graphed a few runs after I went Stg2+ with the following mods :

Intercooler : ETS 5in
Intake : BMS DCI
Downpipe : VRSF 3in catless
Tune : Cobb Stg 2+ Sport (91oct) Stock Throttle (I only have access to 91 octane here : Quebec, Canada)
DME : IJEOS
Spark plugs : Original (car is at 38K miles).
Transmission : MT

Log #1 : Dyno run (4th gear) after installing the mods (ran for a few minutes around town before strapping it to the dyno).
Log#2 : Run on the street (3rd gear) same day
Log#3 : Run on the street (3rd gear) same day BUT: downgraded to ACN tune (still stg 2+ but ACN map).

For all graph below, I hid all timing corrections that seemed irrelevant (WOT onset) but kept everything else there. I have a lot of post shift timing corrections not shown here.

Any thoughts, questions, comments ? I can graph logs differently (as well as dyno graphs)

Here's a vid of one of the Dyno runs

Thanks

It's easier for me to review the CSV log files. If you have em, post em.

This is the easiest way to attach CSV files:
In your documents just create a new compressed(zipped) folder. Whatever csv log you want to upload just right click and select copy and then paste it into the ZIP file and then just upload the ZIP folder.

Anyway, the log looks pretty good. Some minor timing corrections during the shift but nothing excessive.
