Anybody done the Golf Tee mod on a 318i?
Hi, has anybody do the golf tee mod as i have been now told on the 318i? i have a 2012 and wondering if it is any good, does it increase fuel consumption? will they void my BMW warranty if found out if error code comes up? i have searched this topic on here but without success, any answers or DIY would be much appreciated. thanks in advance

As xenon has said.
Not available for your car as you don't have the right exhaust. If you want more noise get a performance exhaust. |

What about diesels. I've never looked.
Mid you, making it louder seems counter productive on a smoker..

Well they couldn't really as they're vacuum operated.

Do diesels not have a vacuum? What about the egr then? I don't get why that makes a difference?

There's no plenum chamber / inlet manifold to get the vacuum from.

Quote:
The whole point of the flap is that it depends on engine load which is inversely proportional to the inlet manifold vacuum. And turbo petrol cars have an inlet manifold.
