It sure started out that way, but I don't think the OP will come back to this thread.

We all know dealerships are in business to make money, which is why most people don't have a problem paying more than invoice price for their vehicle. But people certainly get offended (and rightfully so) when dealerships just blatantly try to rip people off. That's not a good business practice, and that type of activity is what gives car dealers a bad name. I can remember going to an Acura dealership years back and looking at the RSX-S. It was early 2004 and they had a left over 2003 demo with the factory aero kit and other options installed, and 4,000 miles, and they were trying to sell it for more than a brand new 2004 model. So this practice must be pretty common. And for dealerships to think they can get away with that, there must be people out there that buy these cars for somewhere near their asking price. I feel sorta sorry for those poor suckers.

Sad thing is some rich kid is going to come along, drool over it, and have his parents buy it for him/her. Then some salesman is going to make a HUGE commission and then the whole cycle will repeat.

i am looking for a 335 and was very excited when i saw this thread. but my interest was reduced by 50% when i saw the asking price (before careful calculation and realize it was even more ridiculous then i initially thought). when i read into the thread more, my interest went down another 100% (i am now at -50% if we can count correctly, unlike the calculation done on the OEM mods on this car).

this car was listed at a crazy price that was clearly a joke. not matter how you justify it or calculate, it is not worth the asking price and the OP knows it. if not, she needs to get a new job away from selling cars. what made it worse was when she started insulting those who criticized her. she stated that poeple were upset because they couldn't afford the car. not sure where she acquired her sales skill, but attacking customers is definitely not part of her schooling.

i can assure you many here can afford that car (or why would you post the ad here), but don't bother until you have the curtesy to treat us with respect and honesty. how would you like for me to come to your dealer and make an offer for 50% of the MSRP. you would think i am an idiot..... which is what peole here think of you for that asking price.

Wow. 60k? Are you kidding me? Forget that, I'd rather get a used M5 or new M3 with that kinda money.
