E92 passenger wiper alignment?

Noticed on my new E92 that the passenger wiper overlaps the seal on the passenger side of the windscreen when it's parked - see below. Is this normal (I hope not!), or do I have the wrong wiper blade on one side? I did wonder if the arm was just adjusted too far down the screen, but it'd have to go up quite a long way to clear.

That's not aligned correctly - is the wiper blade located on the arm properly ??

Pretty sure it's clipped in correctly. Will go have another check though...

No, blade's definitely on correctly - there's only one way it'll fit. Took the nut off the arm, but it's very well wedged on its splines - might mention it to the dealer when I'm down there next weekend picking up my floor mats.

It simpy looks like a blade that's the wrong size - about 1-2 inches too long

I had the same problem when i went to get a replacement blade. the one they gave me was too long and i had to go back and get one that was smaller on one half of the mounting point than the other side. The dealer could only guess that the 2007 year (and some 2008) had a different wiper arm on the passenger side then the newer models.

Sure enough, it was the wrong blade. They tried a brand new set on it and had the same problem, so they ended up pulling the passenger blade from an 09-plate E93 on the forecourt, which fitted perfectly. Oh well, I'm happy now!

Not great attention to detail on their part.
