Radio problems

Hi.. I am new to this.. Had a 5 series for 7 years and just bought a 2011 3 series. Love the car, but the radio is messing up. Anyone else having issues? The volume is extremely low and it is set to increase as my speed does, but it jumps from low to high volume on its own. I can be sitting at a red light and it just increases volume, then goes back down. BMW service people think I am crazy. This does not happen when I have CD in or ipod.. Only radio... Weird. Also, they gave me a 3 series loaner car, and it is doing it too. Along with cracking and fax machine sounds, which mine has not done yet. But they cannot seem to locate problem. The service dept. said to just turn off feature that increase volume with speed. Really?

Make a video the next time it happens. Then let BMW keep the car until its fixed!

I think it can be caused by a lot of stuff.. It can be your UDP or you can check the grounding on your horns and your stereo setup.

This could be your problem

This could be your problem if you got a 1/2010 to 8/2010 build
