Probably doesn't help, since there is no dash, but here's when it happened. You can hear it peak for a split second and then I made the quick choice to shift manually.

If it was on single our at least cylinders that don't move about I'd know where to look but am at a total loss, especially as it affects map 0 :-( oh well, was fun while it lasted. I've uninstalled now. |

Ecu is perceiving that the torque output is too much for the tranny and cuts power. If you can confirm torque limit active is 4 I'd contact Cobb with a datalog

I had a coil pack and all 6 spark plugs replaced. after I picked the car up my cobb ap was reading these codes:
Fwd: ecu codes H2FCA H2FDA H29CD any idea what they are? I cleared them with the ap and they haven't come back yet. is this a big issue?

they are BETA maps. It's entirely possible that issues may crop up on various rom versions as they are all not tested. They will correct the issues as they pop up.

thank you for the advice. Does this sound like a serious issue or just something simple that needs to be tightened? Ive been having non stop issues with this car and its getting really annoying and expensive.

I had the FMIC installed like a week and a half or two weeks ago. None of this issues came about until I took it in for the coil and spark plugs. Could it have taken that amount of time for the leak to happen after the FMIC install? So pretty much this shouldnt be anything serious?

So if you took it into a shop and they just replaced plugs/coil packs and didn't mess with anything. I wouldn't think that was the cause. UNLESS You're misfiring (bad plug or coil pack) even tho they are new. And its throwing the code, I have had the P30ff light come on when I was having bad misfires. Is the car "surging" after 4k rpm? |

I was going to do that mate, but thought I'd give stock a go because they've only done 24k untuned miles. cannot say for sure but the pull logs coincide with slightly course feeling around 3k on a partial throttle. That started couple of years ago about when I left car with BMW for a week to sort waste gates. Wonder if they dabbled? thought I'd leave stock for a bit then pop into garage. |

I'm not sure if this is a coincidence... but after flashing v400, my WG rattle is way less(far more quiet). It was pretty bad before.

Taking the car in to pay for plugs and coil replacements is just dumb. Its so easy to do yourself and shops normally charge a lot for it, especially dealerships. /rant
