Good job Jim, post pictures when you can.

Two thumbs up to Mike for his mad detail skills and the level of perfection. Y'all need to get your cars detail from him soon. I can guarantee he'll transform your car and make it even better than brand new.

Do you guys know where I can get some betalink? I got my splitters in and tried to install them using the double sided tape but their fitment isn't as good as I was told they were going to be. They're not real bad but the tape isn't going to cut it. I'll have to glue them on.

Sup guys, not on here that often.

Quick question. How many hours do you guys think installing a Berk Axle Back, ETS 5" FMIC and ETS Chargepipe should take?

Reason I ask is that I'm dropping my car off at a shop to have it done this week. I don't have my tools in vegas or I would do it myself. When I reverted the fmic and cp to stock on my 335xi it took me about an hour and a half maybe. The guy at the shop said the FMIC alone could take up to 3 hours. Hell I've swapped turbo's on my TA faster than that and that was with me drinking 3-4 beers. I'm just trying to get a consensus on what is reasonable amount of time. I don't want to get taken to the cleaners and they bill me for 8 hours for 3 hours worth of work thinking i'm dumb enough to believe it. I mean hell the axle back is two easy to access bolts to get to and a couple hangers.

Aw come on. All 3 of those are fairly easy bolt on. 3 hours total and that's with me being generous, considering its a shop.. and maybe the car would need to cool down after driving it over there. *shrug*

Yeah thats what I'm saying. As for cool down if they started with the IC and CP first, the exhaust would have plenty time to cool down. I'm fine with 4 hours of total billable work as it shouldn't take longer than that.

Bring it to my place and I'll do everything for $200. I haven't worked on a 1er before, but I know the N54. Can't be that much of a difference.

I would totally do it, but I have no tools here and my condo has a strict rule of no working on cars in the garage. Not only that but I don't have ramps or jackstands. My primary residence is in illinois after all.
