Project Rejuvenation, e92 335i (New pics 27th Mar)

Hi folks,
decided to document my mods over the years & this is my 1st attempt to post a short feature on this forum so please bear with me.

With current COE prices (10 year license fee to own a car in Singapore) making it next to impossible for me to afford a new ride anytime soon, I've decided to keep my 4yr old e92 and at the same time inject some mods to rejuvenate my interest in the car.

Well Life's a bitch and we could all do with some distractions anyway.

Started searching online for mods I've always wanted to complete since the last I left it and realise it's almost 1.5yrs since I've done anything to the car... a long time considering I used to fiddle with my car almost every weekend.

Previous Mods

Cosmetics:
M3 Side Skirts
M3 Rear Bumper
M3 Side Fenders
M3 Quads
Vorsteiner CF CSL Rear Spoiler
Vorsteiner Vented CF Bonnet
Gloss Black Kidney Grill
19' Rays Progressiv ME
Hamann Roof Spoiler
Hamann Padel Trims
M3 Hand Brake Trim
M5 Shift Knob
M-tech Front Bumper (off)
CF Roundels (off)

Performance:
JB4
DCI
FBO (for those who understand )

Handling:
6/4 pot FR Brembo BBK + Cross-drilled Rotors
Michelin Super Sport
Bilstein PSS10
Hotchkis Front & Rear ARB

Once the research process started, the Mod Virus bit really hard & one thing led to another.

These were the stuff on my want to do list:

1. M3 suspension bits
2. Hotchkis ARB Rebuild Kit (Bushings & End Links)
3. New Headlights
3. M3 Steering + DCT Paddle Shifters
4. M3 Mirrors
5. M3 Front Bumper
6. CF M5 Shift Knob Trims
7. Brushed Titanium Interior Trims
8. 8k White AE
9. LCI Tail Lights

After weeks of sourcing from eBay, forums & online stockist, my parts arrived bit by bit and in good order.

Nuff said from me, I'll let the pictures do the talking and hope you'll share some of my joy.

Enjoy!

Very nice modlist you have alot of quality stuff there just hate to see a 335 with a full M3 body especially fenders that say m3=fail.( To each is own) If it were just the front or rear it would have been alot more tastefully done IMO but I gotta give credit for the performance mod list atleast a job well done there.

Sick photos and sexy car!

I agree with the whole M3 thing that people have mentioned previously but that doesn't bother too much. I am just curious why you left the 335i badge on the rear and the M3 on the side. I would just debadge the rear.

Overall, you put together a beautiful car and I wish you the best of luck with it. Some sick photos too

looks good, but I'd like it a lot more without the M3 symbol on the fender.

Thanks for your comments folks.

Absolutely no intentions to fake a M3 else would have gotten the M bonnet and rebadged to rear.

Just that the M side fenderscomes with the signal lamp covers which has the M3 stickers. If I had alternatives to replace the sticker would gladly do so won't be mistaken for faking an M.

Well I'm not too bothered and that's why I still wear my 335i badge proudly.

Cheers!

+1.. Very nice car, but I say debadge both the 335i badge, and the m3 badges.. Leave people wondering haha

never thought about the fact that the M3 sticker probably just came on the fenders, still looks awesome!

Amazing work. The shift knob is really nice. If you could get a custom 335 sticker made for the fender that would be nice.
