Congrats for the new ride Steve! Every new choice of yours seems to be fantastic! Tons of stuff you can modify on the i compared to the d. I really miss that and also the exhaust note. There's a 335i near my office and each morning he fires up the engine I "slightly" envy him My next car will definitely by a petrol one.

Your 335i looks very very clean. Once of the nicest almost stock e91s I've seen. Good luck with the mods!

Im wondering if I have seen you a couple of time recently in this. Earlier this week coming off the A12 at the green man round-about, around 19:00 and last Tuesday in Loughton during the day? Is your car de-badged?

Just saw you got those BMW Performance seats, jammy git. In all seriousness if you decide to sell them or the car without them then I will buy them at short notice!!

Love the car too.

Sorry - ive not been back on this thread for a while!! Yes, that sounds like it was/is me - im in Loughton, Buckhurst Hill, Epping etc all the time, sometimes daily if im home (Chigwell) - and i fire up and down the A12 pretty often too!! And yes the car is debadged and extremely dirty at the moment - hence why ive STILL not taken any pics of the car as yet - its killing me too as i bought a new camera in HKG and want to try it out!!! Anyway, if you see me again then give me a honk!!!

Lovely car Steve. I love tuned up estates E91 better looking than E90 imo.

Just take off those rpi scoops, they give no performance gains (as tested by Evolve) and only decrease the amount of cold air getting to the radiator....not good.

They look nice, but I did have a thought that they would scoop up driving rain at speed, diverting water into the airbox inlet which probably isn't great.

The air box (unlike ZX*R Ninja / GSXR) does not have ram air and is not pressurised. The opening is just in front and above the radiator. At speed the radiator acts like a brick and more than enough air will be forced into the air box system. So the RPi design cannot increase performance.
