Wheels I'm interested in come in only those offsets and it seems like it may be too much trouble.

Opinions needed.

Yeah after some research I've decided against it. Just not worth all the hassle in the end for some TE replicas.

I'm new to the form this is my 1st post.
I have a 2007 335i convertible.
I purchased some asanti wheels 19 x 8 & 19 9.5
which size tires should I be running
I was thinking Toyo Proxes 4 245/35/19 front & 265/30/19 rear
any feedback is appreciated.

Know the offsets of the wheels? Are you lowered?

Car is all stock no sport suspension.
5x120 is the lug pattern
not sure about offsets I can find out tomorrow.
the wheels it's coming with are
Goodyear f1 tires The Wheels Are 19x8 In The Front With 245/35/19 Tire And 19 9.5 In The Rear With 275/30/19

I want to know if they will rub with those original tires and would it matter if I switched to toyo proxes 4 245/35/19 front & 265/30/19 rear.

I don't think A LOT of fender work needs to be done. My friend is running 19x10.5 et22 with some camber and a little bit of stretch. He also has a light roll for the fenders.

How do you have zero rub? I have a 265/30/19 on OEM 359 (19x10et25) with -1.55 rear camber, lightly lowered (nowhere close to slammed, maybe 10mm lower), rolled rear fenders, and I still lightly rub on high compression corners and over bumps on the corner where the bumper and fender meet...gets worse with 1 passenger, and rear passengers...forget it. Dremel down that part of the inner fender lip?

lol...i made a thread about the same wheels a few days ago. looks like they're a lil too agressive for me as well. my fenders are already rolled and shaved a bit...but don't want to have to run any crazy camber to get them to not rub.

ps where are the pics of the blue e92 on Varrstoens? i haven't seen it...

That's a tough one, stretched tire is necessary since E92's have plastic front fenders

If you look at the blue E92 on Varrstoen TE reps, he is running 19x10.5et22 with shaving, cutting, AND pulling and he still rubs.

I have no fender work. No rolling, shaving, pulling, or anything - 100% stock! I have a 265 stretched on a 10.5 which is probably your problem. That half inch could make the difference. Also, according to stance guru Tee, camber is -1.8 when lowered on coils.

Thanks for the help, I imagine that the 0.5" is helping...what brand tire? My car only rubs left side when I'm driving aggressively and taking high compression corners, going in and out of steep driveways, and large bumps, though anyone else in the car is pretty bad. The -1.8 is what he says is needed to clear? Or what he believes static camber is? I have adjustable upper links for the super adjustable camber...I was thinking of going to 1.7 or 1.8 to try and solve it TBH...

I am running a 265/30 Nitto INVO. It stretches at a 45 degree angle:



Tee told me -1.8 is the natural camber on lowered cars. Since you're only 10mm lower than stock, you're probably still @ stock specs. I barely clear with my stock camber, so you I think you need more camber and more low.

Ah, the nittos. That prob helps too, Michelins run notoriously wide. I will prob up the camber a bit to 1.7-1.8 and stick at the same ride height, I drive way too aggressively to do more low out back...wish i could do more low out front to have a nice even rake, but I cracked a fender before while running a less aggressive offset, albeit with less camber, and a 235 on an 8" (now on a 9). Much appreciate the insight, my man!
