I spent 45 bucks on 2 sets of Luxer1 12 led sets and my car still throws an error every other time, but only for like 5-10 secs now *sigh* waste of money

These bulbs probably aren't the perfected mod. I bought a set - they kick an intermittent bulb error at nearly every startup (goes away in like 5-10 seconds.)

Bulbs look great (maybe a little too bright), however, now one row of LEDS on one of the LED boards sorta flickers... I think these are made very cheap. I can almost stand the bulb message, but the flickering is unacceptable.

Back to stock bulbs until something better... OEM fixtures from an '08 would be great if someone figured out the resistance issues!

Wire 33ohm (rated for 5W+ or it'll burn) in parallel with the OEM LEDs. no error codes. done.

Perfect bulbs!

I just put these in and they work great. Stock fitment, nice color, not too bright, and no resistors. Best of all, no error!!! (a little pricey though at $30+shipping, but otherwise perfect!)

I will vouch for this set as well, this one works! My car would has thrown errors for the last 2 sets of led panels I've tried, but those work perfectly, no errors!
Happy Alex is Happy.

EDIT: apparently not, once you start driving, the error is there

I have just bought original LED License Plate Lights at BMW.
Part number is 63 26 7 193 293
Price: I paid in Poland ~12 USD each
Change is simple: take out old one and put a new one. Simple and easy

I checked the part number on tischer site and it just said license plate light. Is it LED or just a replacement? and yeah I'm also curious if these would produce error codes for the 07 models.

I was wondering if anyone knew whether the install for the GP LEDs are the same as the LUX?

How do you take out, the blocks in the rear where the lights of the license plate are in? There are no screws in it. How do i pull them out?
