Wow. That looks really good.
That's the best curve I've seen with the N55.

That would make sense. BMS can bench flash the N55 ECU today as can many others. It's just not very practical so has a higher price tag.

I can 2nd that info, they offered to tune my X5, but told me I'd have to remove my ECU/DME... I'm sure they are monitoring this thread, just not posting... I'm trying to find someone with an N55 X5 to jump on this, because I can't be without my SAV for the amount of time they would need for a benchload... I drive every day for work, and I'm not going to rent a car either...

if this was stock + tune - wow.

honestly benchload or not - it's another option for the
N55. Hopefully they'll be an OBDII solution.

I'm gett'n N55 woes.
BTW, Let me thank you guys that are first to these
power mods.

Update from PDF to JPEG. Ok, I know I have not much responded to the emails & questions on the OP. The car it's a stock E90 335i N55 steptronic, just with 'Mild Tune flash' thru custom oem tools. The tune makes some nice low end with just 182Kpa (11.89psi) then had it tapered it back to 166Kpa (9,57psi) for now; while meeting it's purpose for ULEV2 emmissions & will meet HDE Lambda injection... somewhat ala OEM =)

We are working on a 'Mild Tune 1.5' that will maintain higher boost levels with all the good safety DME MEVD17.2 engine features within the turbo efficiency mapping data. Also, note that removing the catalytic on any emission road cars is illegal & have no purpose on the road with your State laws & EPA. And it's not a way of calling it 'tuning' IMO.

m54b25 are you say'n you work for PAW?
you should talk to the admin if you are
and work something out.

Don't get me wrong - more than happy
to hear new tunes for the N55.
and alot of guys here are willing to pay to play.
so catless - free flowing system is top of the mod'n list for many.
unless it changes for the n55.

thanks for chim'n in finally.
i nver heard of paw before.

Oh, and does this mean you won't tune cars with catless downpipes?

Yes, I would need to contact the Admin. It's not just raising boost on the MEVD17.2, it requires changes including: Valvetronic3, timing, Lambda, etc.

Any owner can make the car be cat-less if they decide too, but it's not intended for public road use my point. But, can we offer turn off of post-cat sensor for downpipes? Possible, but don't. EPA would love knocking on shop doors & O2 simulator sellers. Besides BMW voiding your cars warranty with 4year/50k miles. But, for only Motorsports dedicated vehicle applications i.e.: Grand Am, etc. YES.

I can't believe I can't find a single N55 X5 owner interested in doing this. I have over 2900 views on my N55 X5 mod thread and no one wants to get their N55 X5 tuned for free from these guys... Too bad they aren't like the e90 posters who would have jumped on this in a heart beat...

Hmmm... you mean higher unleaded octane fuel, possible (DME will adapt not just timing & engine will be happier everywhere within the set of torque values) & definitely you'll see slight boost increase.

But, if you mean increasing Relative load for increased pressure Kpa and falling of the Turbo efficiency islands to use 'race gas'. Not sure if it's something would like to tune it for long term use. Must assume most of the N55 powered cars are not race cars & would pump at their local gas station.

Don't worry bout that... As long as you take advantage of what's being offered (and do a nice comprehensive review)
