They're all a little apples/oranges. I agree that the RS5 is probably a better comparo to the E92 M3 (In fact, European Car did just that last month, and it was a great read for a fan of either marque) but I can only compare what I've driven.

By no means does the 335 compare to the S5 though. Even a fully loaded MSport package 335 with every possible option falls well short of the S5 in nearly every category, sad to say. Performance-wise I imagine they are similar (probably pretty close really in terms of acceleration now that I think back on it) but if it were the same money I'd take the S5 every time.

And the new S4 can't be compared to the E90 335. Much nicer. Even though it gives up something in performance to the E90 M3, you still have to put them side by side. (and a chipped 3.0T S4 is a beast, FWIW.)

Ah of course. I've never had the opportunity I drive a s4 but damn the rs4 is a beast. Sticks like glue. I did however toughly enjoy the e90 m3 much much more!

Bought it November 29th, and after a long nightmare with the shipping/transport company I hired, I finally received the car on Wednesday!

Here's my new toy

Congratulation on the new whip. I'm sure you can tell a M3 is totally different than a 335. Enjoy your new car.

Hello stranger! Heard what happened to your car already! Talk about bad luck. Might as well trade it in and get an M3 instead

And welcome to the forum!

Yep... less than 24hrs owning the car and a utility truck runs a red light and removes the front bumber/grill from my car! elijah took it apart this morning and I am only in need of bumper, grill, lights, fogs, and hood. Everything else is good.

could have been a lot worse!

FYI (and anyone else who happens to be reading this): Even if you hadnt added your new car to your auto insurance policy yet, you still would have been covered. You have 30 days to add a new vehicle to your policy. Within those 30 days, your new car will have the same coverage limits as your existing car(s). If you have different levels of coverage on your existing cars, (ie: full coverage on one car and liability-only on another car), your new car will receive the same coverage as the car with the most coverage.

Example:
Car 1: Full liability, uninsured motorist bodily injury and propoerty damage, PIP, comprehensive, collision and towing
Car 2: Liability only, (no UIMBI or UIMPD, PIP or comp/collision)

Your new car would have the same coverage as car #1 in this scenario.
