Finally New Wheels and Tires

Well I decided to put on my new wheels and tires that I have had for about 4 months. I was going to drive my RFT's until they were bald, but then I noticed a bubble on one of the tires (must have hit a pot hole) and decided it was time to change them out.

New Tires are Pilot Super Sports and holly cow what a difference. I knew there would be, but I did not realize how much. So much smoother and quieter.

Wheels are Style 67's. They came off my dads M3. They had terrible curb rash (from the previous owner) so I had them re-finished and painted a darker gray color.

I know from doing searches on this forum that half of you will like my wheels and the other half will say they look too small or too old for a e9x. So hate away I dont care. I like them a lot

Looks good, what are the specs? I'm sure it was a huge difference from the run flats!

Looks like you need to lower it now too.

The wheels are 18x8 up front and 18x9 in back. I don't know the offset but I put 15mm spacers up front.

Tires are the stock sport package 225/40 up front and 255/35 in rear.

A drop is definitely on my to do list

How come you didn't go wider than the stock 225 and 255? I see most people going 235 and 275 or so.

I just did not think it's necessary plus it just costs more.

Next time you need a new set of tires, go one size wider...you can thank me later!
