Alignment/tire wear opinions? *pics*
At 4,866 miles the dealer replaced both my front tires due to feathering on the outer-edge left and right front tires.
This on a '08 335 coupe with sport package. 1st of all let me say I am NOT a curve/auto-cross guy, but a drag-racer (STRAIGHT-LINE). Yet the dealer service guy at 1st claimed that was normal wear AND I had been pushing it hard through the curves. I've been drag-racing and wrenching/building cars for years and that was the most obsurd thing i'd ever heard. They put it on the alignment machine, found it was out in back, yet they had a hard time getting the center of the wheel straight again. If the tow wasn't out in the front, why did they even have that lose?? Anyway BMW put 2 new tires on it. Now at 5,971 miles, (1,105 miles later) it appears to be doing the same thing AGAIN? Maybe I'm just paranoid, what do ya'll think?

i personally see more uneven tierwear from people who dont take their cars through the turns and drive a BMW how it should be driven. though..you do live in nashville..so my best advice is to bring it back into the shop and see what we can do?
