Don't take your car to stealerships!! Just go to BimmerShops and find a reputable trusted Indy with great reviews . You, your car,& wallet will all be in better condition then if you took it to any stealership ... F the bozos!! Lol!!

I have same issue with a loud squeal at 1000-1200 rpm after a coolant system overhaul including new water pump and all new pulleys, idlers and belts.

Ideas?

My advice is ignore it. I had numerous shops look at it over the yeard and it never went away. I terestingly enough, i think it has nothing to do with the motor. Even when my first motor blew and another was swapped in, same noise
