Haha, I'm sure it would, or depends on where it's installed?

Either way, this is something to consider!
If you check out their site you can read up on all their warrant info.
It is not specific to the N52 but I'm sure the same warranty applies.

so i wonder what would be the best route.... do the 3IM + tune and then this? or hold off and do supercharger first? i wonder if the kit is just for unmodified cars? excluding cars with exhaust, intake and headers of course...

any thoughts?

Hold off and save. It should work fine with an exhaust, intake, and most likely headers. We need people to get it ASAP and review it! Im sure itll be sweet!

I doubt, my guess cuz its a direct injection engine just like n54/n55. Unlike N51/N52 engines.

The news are exiting, I was just going to do AA or Shiv tune, might save a buck.

The only concern for me is engine life time with this, logically it should decrease with increased load. Unfortunately n52 doesn't have cast iron cylinder sleeves like N54 has.

In addition it could require mods for transmission and rear differential.

I wounder if this kit would apply only for rear drive or also xdrive versions.

I think it comes with larger fuel injects ect. ESS has a pretty good rep, I was reading about them on the e46 forums and people were running SC kits on cars with 106k miles on them no problem. Installing them with 96k on the clock ect. Like with anything else you cant beat on it all the time, if you take care of the car, it should last.

Ummmmm, you guys do realize that you could just trade in your naturally aspirated 328 for a 335, right? Any argument that the hardcore naturally aspirated people make against the 335 will essentially apply to this as well. Weight distribution, unreliability, etc. I'm all for options but you guys are acting like this is the second coming. Now back to your regularly scheduled fanboi extravaganza...

This is true, for extra 5-6 grand you can get 335 instead of 328, with similar milage and condition. Therefore it is a niche product for enthusiasts, who already invested serious money in 328 for suspension and brakes mods.

The only thing I miss about my 2 N52 is the sound a NA staight 6 makes with the PE ringing it out to 7k, Other then that boost is the way to go, cant say I miss the n52 power. But I am happy after all this time a real power option will finally be available for these cars for those who want to go that route instead of upgrading to a 335, f30 328 etc.

I would still go ahead and get the headers and 3IM. Just would hold off on the tune for the supercharger. I would think you would get maximum performance with the supercharger and 3IM

Roman just confirmed that this kit won't be working for N53 at this time.
