Because I periodically check that the alignment is ok. After a track day or something like that, if I've been riding the kerbs on track etc, or after a heavy 'Ring trip, I'll have the alignment checked just to make sure everything's running straight and true. I don't want to go to Battersea every single time - Matt will get v pissed off, and it'd cost a fortune!

Matts just text me - he said he cant do the alignment for me on the sly - bugger! He said its like MI5 down there and then he added "besides Steve, you and your car are not the most inconspicuous of things!!"

I'd never use a BMW dealer for tyres or alignment after they cocked up with my last car. I use Wembley Tyres - Marcus who runs it is a top chap and they look after your car and wheels. Had KDS done there and it solved a slight vibration problem I had.
