$70 Oil Change at McKenna BMW 07/10/10!

Heads up for all the So Cal people, just got this in my inbox from a buddy. $70 Intermediate Service. Oil change + top off washer fluid + adjust tire pressure + free car wash + free bbq from 11am to 3pm.

Great deal considering it costs about that much to buy the oil and filter for a DIY.

Hey, show up with a couple friends, and you are basically getting the service for free. Me and most any two or three friends of mine could easily eat that much BBQ!

How do you like the dealership? Are they good guys or a bunch of pricks? If good guys then get the Oil change + top off washer fluid + adjust tire pressure + free car wash + free bbq from 11am to 3pm.

If pricks also get the Oil change + top off washer fluid + adjust tire pressure + free car wash + free bbq from 11am to 3pm, but send the recipt to BMW NA and ask for a refund because all maintenance service is covered under the 4 year 50,000 mile warranty. Nothing in the manual states "except intermediate service".

Actually, you're only allowed maintenance per BMW's service sechdule

you're not allowed to just walk in and get an oil change whenever YOU want
it's when your car says it's okay, or it's been a year
same goes with brakes etc etc

Correct, you are not getting it anytime YOU want, you are getting "intermediate service". You act dumb and point to their slogans about maintenance. Keep in mind they are not stating oil/filter change 70 bucks but "intermediate service"

Not exactly. You only get a free oil change every 15k miles...so you only get 3 free oil changes...15k, 30k, and 45k. A lot of people out there change their oil every ~5k miles...these oil changes are not covered.

This is a great deal indeed. The lowest I've seen an oil change at any BMW dealership is $130.

the point is that they check your car out for "free" on top of that oil change. you don't have to do the extra work.
