I can't answer your question on compatibility, but I think the chrome accents identify it as an SE wheel, although that shouldn't make any difference.
You mention that you'll probably have it re-trimmed by 'Royal' - would you mind giving me a link? I really miss the perforated leather on my old E92 wheel and I'd love to have my F10 wheel similarly covered.

I wonder if they could re-trim my M Sport gear knob (manual)?

I think that's an SE wheel - certainly looks like mine (SE Touring), so not the really thick rim as on your MSport.

Our 330d has paddles - If yours hasn't I don't know how easy a retrofit would be, it would certainly need to be coded.

To be honest, the paddles are a gimick with the standard auto box and you will find the novelty soon wears off and you won't use them.

No, the chrome accent indicates an SE steering wheel. (its still called a 'sport' wheel, as opposed to 'M sport' wheel)

Try realoem to compare part number between models, this will tell you if its the same wheel.

Thanks guys, in which case I need to keep an eye out for a M-Sport with paddle shifts. They don't need to be coded to work, there are plenty of DIY on the forum

Yes that wheel is the SE Sports wheel fitted as an option to all models of E90/91/92. Because it has paddles it mostl ikely has come from a 335.

Beware of airbag fitment, the SE standard airbag will not fit that wheel or an M Sport wheel but the bag from a SE Sport wheel will fit the M Sport wheel.
