Latest Daten Files?

Where can I find the latest SP-daten files for E89? I think E89 is what I need for my E90 correct? I think were up to v53 now?

I believe I have v49, is that sufficient?

All the links I've found are broken or require a password.

You should be safe for most jobs, but I'd upgrade to at least v50.x.

Let me take step back and ask, what changes with each new version of the SP-daten?

What are the downsides of using an outdated version?

I just figured the newest was the best, but that's not always the case.

An outdated version may not allow communication with the affected ECU. Therefore, will throw an error when trying to connect.
