Lower Black Mesh Grills Installed!!!!!
And what a pain in the A$$ it was. Nah jk it wasnt too bad. Yes, you have to remove the front bumper. I imagine I had a harder time than others due to the car sitting on H&R springs and having 19" wheels... but still do able in approx 2 1/2 hours. Anyway, thought i'd share some pics.
Props to this DIY http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80133. If you follow this, you will have no issues.

I ordered the grill through UED Uniquie Euro Design. It's made of black plastic original BMW parts. No worries on it chipping. Yea, removing the bumper sucked..

Definitely the easier way to go. I installed mine without taking off the bumper and that was a royal PITA.

I PM'd UED for the passenger side of the grills, hopefully they'll get back to me. I only need that side as I ordered the ones for the 328i awhile ago.

Thanks bro!
Np. The mesh on the 328 is blocked off on the passenger side where the 335i isn't. This provides airflow to our oil cooler which is located in the fenderwell area of the 335's passenger side. I hope that makes sense.

Whell i understand that lol. But i got all confused when u had said u ordered the ones for the 328i a while ago. I just came to a conclusion like the 328 ones were cheaper but the same. LoL something to that effect. Thank you for clearing it up.

The 335i coupe lower mesh grilles are SILVER. I ordered my lower mesh from the dealer (I have a 335i coupe) they came in black they are black plastic so you don't have to worry about them chipping (if you painted the 335i ones) I prefer using the 328i ones because they come black...I would be really pissed if I painted my stock silver ones and then they chipped and I had to go through the whole thing over again. I changed mine without removing the bumper and it was a royal pain in the ass. I actually destroyed my original ones when I removed them. The whole thing start to finish took me about 3 hours and I did not have to remove the bumper..I just took out all of the bolts underneath the car so I could wedge my fat hand back there... Hope this clears everything up for you.

The 328i ones block your oil cooler a bit on the passenger side. If you compare it to your 335i ones you can see the difference.
