bomb-diggity-higgity!!
With all of the talk about how great M cars are I decided to share my love of my beautiful new (to me) 335xi. She got a bath and a coat of wax today.
COBB AP installed, smoke side markers, FMIC on the way, and that's enough for now. Looking forward to some interior/exterior mods. I'm new to that so any and all suggestions are welcome. |

Thanks everyone. This is definitely the nicest car I've ever owned and I just think it's awesome.
It's at about 25k miles and is cpo so the downpipes are questionable. It's a job to swap back for dealer visits. As for the wheels, the stockers are my favorite BMW wheels and they're butt-easy to clean. I'm thinking front lip, maybe side skirts, exhaust, interior LEDs, etc. I just wanted to share. |

Depends on the shop you go to. I'm CPO and I've installed downpipes. My stealership hasn't given me grief about them yet, and they are the biggest sticklers out there. I'm not about to start the Procede/JB4/Cobb duel again so I'll say Tune. If you are concerned about warranty, get an upgraded drop in Intake. My car pulls like nothing else right now.

Congrats on the car!
I have had wonderful experiences with JB4. Terry's customer service is unbelievably good! The user interface is really intuitive and easy to work with. Install is easy, upgrades are easy, logging is easy. When I was contemplating Procede, Robert's service was good. I have no experience with Cobb.

Thanks everyone. Its nice to communicate my appreciation for the car and have a bunch of guys that understand that.
A drop is in it's future. I was considering beilsteins and eibach pro springs when I crashed the last one. I couldn't decide btw that setup and wheels. Now I've got 18's so suspension is in order. Sucks that I have to rebuy the fmic but the car is much nicer/less miles so I'll take it. My custom catch can gets here in a week. Gotta get the fmic soooon. She gets tinted tomorrow morning. |
