Hi guys, i would really appreciate if you can show me the right direction to take. i have two different sets of rim, first one is the original rims with tire that i bought with the car tire size on them is 225 45r17 these are run flat and needs to be replaced. Then i bought tire with rim from this great e90post wesbsite and in less then a year the tire are shot . I have spend over 2000 on these tire and rims and now i need to replace at least 1 or maybe 2 tires. The rims are 19 inch and tire size is 225/35r19 88y, 255/30r19 91y now my question is this, should i go back to the original tire 17 or stay with these 19. if i go with run flat they are very expensive and at this point i don't mind not having run flat because the ride is terrible. If the ride gets better without the run flat on 19 i and the price is reasonable i would go with that. or go with non runflat 17 inch? please if you can help send me msg and i would really appreciate it. i don't want to spend a lot of money and have the same result

1. Go with non-run flat tires regardless.
2. Go with an all season tire so that they last longer than, presumably, the summer tires you have on those 19s now.
3. Get pricing information for both setups using the information provided above.
4. Figure out if the price difference between the 17s vs 19s is "worth it" to you.
5. ???
6. Profit.

would i need spacers? i know i wont need them on 17 cuz they came with the car but the 19? also would i be able to get 19 inch tire that are not so much on the low profile end? cuz city pot holes are killing me now.

1. No, you wouldn't "need" spacers.
2. Probably not. There aren't really a whole lot of options when it comes to up-sizing the tire sidewall on 19"+ wheels.

ok. i have decided i will go not go with run flat anymore. now i really want to stay with 19 inch will pothole still be a huge issue with 19? if so getting road side warranty help if tire goes flat. also it looks like i need my tire to be thicker from height stand point. meaning right now the tire and rim space is maybe 1 and half inch i need more then that so there is some absorption. i have 225/35 19 in from 255/30 19 in back. what size tire i can get so they are thicker and absorb bumps, cuz right now it feels like i broke my front every time i hit a pot hole. i really appreciate all your help thank you so much

Well, you should be able to do 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 with no problem. That would help a bit. I have absolutely no idea what kind of specs your wheels have so that would obviously help in trying to figure out if you could go with something even taller though...

these two tire are 400 and 460 for 2 tire each i can get 100 off each 400 purchase so i can get these for 660.

ANOTHER QUESTION. my main concern is ride and pot hole i dont want it to sound very loude or something just broke when i do hit it please help or i may end up with no run flat and 17 inch standard wheel. can i go bigger on size for that aswell? insted of 225/45-17

If that's the case, you may just want to go with something like 225/50/17. That will give you almost an inch of extra sidewall compared to the tallest 19" setup you'd be able to run.
