Wet, Cold, Autocross... with Winter Tires?

Low 36F, High 42F, 5-10mm of rain. How bad would it be to AutoX with Winter Tires instead of Summers?

DON'T DO IT!

Your winter tires aren't meant to be pushed like that in the corners. You'll have a better chance of getting grip from the high-performance tires if it's around 40 degrees than the snows.

I actually just had an autocross event with temps being low 40s with rain and I was on Michelin PA3 snows. They gripped better than I thought! Sat in some others' cars with summers on and it felt like they were slipping more than I was.
