330i Front Calipers and Brackets
I recently did a brake upgrade and have these laying around. I can take some pics if anyone is interested. They worked well when I took them off. $150 Last edited by eddunn; 07-08-2012 at 09:39 AM.. |

Besides a BBK, you can get small plastic covers on Ebay which stick to the outside of your caliper and make it look like you've got a BBK. Typically for riced out civics.

I put 335i front calipers and rotors on. I did not do SS lines, which I should have, the oem line ends don't turn. Super PITA to get them on w/o making a mess.

One word of advice -- If/When you put SS lines on, make sure you pre-twist the line before you put the line on... otherwise, since the SS lines are so stiff, they'll want to unwind and leak brake fluid... I had this happen 2x - for my rear driver's brake... on my drive home from the shop, noticed my DSC and traction control went out... this was because the DSC runs on brake fluid, and i was near empty -- could've been disastrous. Also, 2 weeks later, when I was driving from NY to MD, my brake started leaking fluid again (same spot). Once i took the line out, pre-twisted it before install, haven't had issues since -- 3 weeks now. Other than that -- i must say, the 325i brakes are not that far behind 335i brakes. on the 335i brakes, there's less brake fade, but the stopping distance is very similar. |
