LOL my sentiments exactly, but I would not consider the 330i slow by any means. There is always going to be something faster.

Any that you like better?
I think Dinan is extremely overpriced and underpowered.

I'm the only one of my close friends with a 335i it's a variety of cars between my friends.
I agree, because that's what I did. I don't think AMS will have anything worthwhile for a tuning solution, and if they do, it won't be for a long time. Right now, they are looking into hard parts only, like exhausts and such.

You need to come to Dyno4mance Saturday so we can do "el producto comparo". Its a bit of a drive (2 hours), so I'll make sure you can dyno for free if you want to do this comparison.

I'm not a JB fan, but its not because of the performance! I'd really like to see how they stack up on the dyno and compare the power throughout the curve.

Definitely the correct mentality to have. I still think my 330 is quick, but I'd like to join in the conversations about software and turbos and crap. No big deal, I guess.

You can still join in the conversation!
Heck, I'd also like to see what an N52 makes on a Dyno Dynamics.

Mine made 196whp on a Dyno Dynamics...I am going back to re-dyno
and expecting to make more power because my intake had a leak.(fixed it) Have a new intake now. I am expecting over 200whp

I would expect 190-200 from one. What was the 330i rated powerwise from the factory? They are stronger than the current 328i, correct?

I have no idea if CarMa or whatever its called reads the same as Dyno4mance, as I've never been there.

I am at Carma right now. Their Dyno Dynamics reads 13% lower than a dyno jet for reference. I am getting my car dynod today.

I made 11whp more and 20ftlbs more torque at same rpm. Albeit on the summer run, the intake was leaking
like a mad man

We used the old graph and new one. Made both uncorrected using just road speed numbers. I am going
back sometime this week maybe and redynoing because he wants to see if my exhaust is taking away some
power. We are going to take off the entire exhaust.......the car is so freakin loud with out it.

My AFE felt better after I fixed it and put all the bolts on it though

I think I might go down to dyno4mance with some people on Saturday. I don't think I'm taking my car though. I got another agenda down there now.

Yeah, thanks Jake.

328i is 230.
330i was 255.

I did not realize they had a 25HP jump. That's pretty substantial.

911 you should take your stock airbox with you next time and switch it out for the injen to see if their claims are consistent with your results. It would be interesting to see if there really is a legit gain- besides their claim.
