Took one for the team. Ordered a e90 LCI M-tech 3D Studie Replica Lip.

Took one for the team and contacted a seller on ebay who was selling these lips. I have been waiting FOREVER for another lip option and specifically a replica of the 3d Studie lip to come along (the real deal is over a grand).

Contacted an ebay seller who said that they could provide the lip for 380 painted and shipped and it would be made of PU instead of FRP. Right now I have the LTBMW/Exotics Tuning lip and though I am happy with it, I have become quickly bored with it.

Lip should be here sometime next month and hopefully I can post up great reviews!!!

Some sample pics they sent me...

looks pretty much the same as the exotics tuning lip except it wraps around the bumper and doesnt extend up in the middle. Id be worried about gaps on the ends where it hugs the bumper. I have the exotics tuning lip and Im thinking about switching back to splitters, I think my car looked way more aggressive with them.

I had splitters and did not like them they look more aggressive in a lowered car. My car is not lowered so a full on lip would give it more dropped look in the front. Coming from splitters to the ltbmw/exotics tuning lip, I just wanted to change it up a bit.

A carbon fiber splitter would finish up the front end nicely I think.

is this for a pre lci e90?

If so, 3D lip is one of the only lips I would get for a pre lci.

Waiting on pics and feedback.

Got it today... it is FRP not PU like i thought.. it is still flexible though. Lined it up over the LTBMW lip and looks like a winner so far. I need to head out and buy some double sided tape.. stay tuned for install.. i will post info of the seller once i make sure this thing fits right

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAINTED-BMW-...07cfb2&vxp=mtr

and there it is. I was just going to post my results before anyone else took the leap to save some grief should this thing didnt fit but anyone who wants to take the leap go for it. oh, the price listed is for a pre-lci the lci lip costs 385 shipped you have to make a special request for this as they do not have a separate auction listing

Okay, got this lip on and well, the fitment wise it is good. Would have been better but I bought my bumper used off ebay and it was slightly warped causing this lip to be off a little bit.

Over-all MY fitment is about 90% but there the middle of the lip meets the middle of my bumper it is slightly off due to the warping of my bumper. Oh well... I am still happy with it and for a replica I wasnt expecting 100% but for those without a damaged bumper expect around 95% fitment...

Hmm looks ok but hopefully that middle gap is because of your warped bumper as mentioned

Not feeling the garage door molding splitters that were added, a good drop would do this car justice

Ya definitely due to my front bumper being warped. This caused my LTBMW not to fit 100% either. When pushed against the bumper with no tape it fit perfect and flush but when left alone with no force it gets messed up.

Ya. Just wanted to give the Home Depot lip a shot. I may pick up the Kerscher style front spoiler.
