Just got an e90... Any suggestions?

I just got a pre-owned 2009 e90. I wanted to know if there are any decent mods for the car. Here is what it looks like now... I have 5% tint all 5 windows, Black and white emblems. I want to get the gloss black kidney grill and the VMR V710 rims in hyper black. Any other suggestions?

congrats on your new ride.

Black kidneys, wheels, drop (coilovers preferred), Angel eyes (OSS, LS3, LUX, Weisslicht, etc. are options) lci m-sport front bumper, reflector delete, Tune (COBB, JB, Eurocharged, Procede, AA, etc.) , exhaust, msport steering wheel. Shadowline exterior window trim with vinyl to match if you get black wheels (assuming its chrome right now). Those are all options. Happy Modding!

I did the reflector delete yesterday doesnt look too great I will probably have to get new reflectors. All i had was matte black vinyl. Which one of the angel eyes would look best? Would I have to change the entire headlight or is it an add on or is it just a bulb? The window trim is already black. Thanks and hopefully ill get an answer to these as well

you can buy bumper plugs, and they look like they belong there, so there will be no holes, jus a suggestion.

The OSS and LS3 angel eyes are complete headlight modifications, not a bulb. They install new LED rings.

The LUX is an LED bulb type product that will achieve your desired effect, and is what 90% of people on this forum do.

Congrats on the new car, and get body color matched reflectors. I would get matte black grills as well.

These cars are so hard to deal with. I used to have an e46 and did everything without a problem. Can you post a link of the LUX product that I would be able to get and from where? Thanks for all the help

The tab on the far right called "LUX E90 LCI Halogen" is the product you want.

The first mod you should do is do a oil change, BMW's intervals are only to save money. If you plan on keeping it after warranty and longer I would have them pay for one then half way through pay for one myself (DIY). Just saying my dash interval says 19k miles between a change thats nuts.

E90Company,
Are these a direct swap or is some re-wiring required?

I actually had 2 oil changes done within a week. lol I did it with my mechanic and I didnt know the car was under warranty. I kept getting the cc-id136 error code and when I took the car in they also changed the oil under warranty.

Isnt $175 a little too expensive for light bulbs?

That's up to you to decide, but I think it's a great price point. It's high intensity LED's, not a halogen light bulb, and LUX recently lowered there prices too.

These are a plug and play product. I have not installed these in person myself, but I hear the process is very easy. There shouldn't be any more wiring involved than what is already there.

A drop and new set of wheels will set you straight. Congrats on the new car!

HID is the brightest option, but won't work on your car. HID only works on 07-10 coupes and 09-11 sedans with xenon headlights
