Powdercoating/Rim Refinish and Suspension Install
Any decent shops in New Jersey that are good for rim refinishing/powdercoating and shops that can install coilovers/springs for good service and good prices?

Wondering the same thing for Jersey. Went to a shop here pretty close to home and they want $600 and said it'd take all day...

So far it seems like prime motoring is the most reasonable.

Yep, thanks DJ. We're $340 to intstall and set the coilovers within 1/8 inch of each other (we don't do corner-weighing). Also, be careful about powdercoating rims, the heating process can soften the metal and you'll end up with four pringles the first time you drive on a pot-holed road.

Where are you located in NJ? My suspension should be getting here next week and I think I may take a whack at doing it myself, if you want to join in.

I'm in South Jersey, very close to Philadelphia. I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance for good price and service.
People here don't do these kind of jobs, or charge very much, or don't do it right.

For any powdercoating in the tri-state area, you have to go to Espo. Long time friend of mine and i'll stand by him, he does the right thing. Just had him do my own wheels earlier this week. Turn around time is great, over 7000 colors to choose from, matte, gloss, metallic, anything you want. The finish is perfect, and I've watched him re-strip a set of wheels that didn't meet his standards but to my eyes looked fine. Oh and.. great prices !
No BS type of guy, just send him an email with what you have and he will get back to you within the hour. Info@Espospowdercoating That's his email. Edit: He is in Staten Island, first exit off the outerbridge too, he is on the water. |

Although the prices are fairly similar, it seems like Prime Motoring is the cheapest.
