WTB: BMW Performance Exhaust for 325i (N53) UK

Mines a 2007 325i E92 with the N53 engine.

Appreciate this might be a slim chance, but worth a go.

Thanks.

Hardest thing to buy when you're looking to get one and the hardest thing to sell when you want to get rid.

Good luck finding one mate, they make a great noise.

I imagine a half decent custom exhaust place could replicate one or the sound at least. I could be way off but from the images, it looks like a pipe with a box around it. By that I mean no baffles afaik.

Acerboo sold his awhile ago.

I shall keep my eyes open for one, they seem rare.

w-o-r-t-h e-v-e-r-y p-e-n-n-y. Never get bored of downshifting since I've put PE on. I've heard/seen many other exhausts on n52/n53 but nothing comes even close to PE.

I bought mine from bungleaio, practically brand new. Forget trying at BMW or other places that source at BMW. I was told that I can place and order, full payment in but I will have to wait up to 6 months since the item isn't in stock anymore. Second hand is the only way. They do come up on here sometimes, worth the wait because what it does with your car is jaw dropping.

German eBay is a great shout! They have them and the price isn't too bad.

Am I right in thinking the BMW PE for the N53 325i is just a back box? No mid pipe? Thanks

Also, is it a direct replacement? No cutting required?.

As for german ebay, before you place an order, send them a message and ask when are they going to post it. I did try to buy it on german ebay as well. They advertise the item as available, then after you place an order you will get a message about a long wait since they have to order it from bmw...

that's what happened to me.

It's a cut and clamp job afaik. One of the reasons I didn't get round to it in the end and why I thought it'd be easier just to get a custom one.

they are easy to fit there is a dimple in the original pipe where you have to cut, the new one then fits perfectly. the oem clamp is very expensive (£35) but you know there will be no problems with it.

Thanks for the info guys. I have indeed bought one off German eBay. I checked with the seller, and it was in stock and ready to dispatch.
