yes, the OEM intake for the N55 does take a long trip around.
damn MAF sensor.

I thought the general consensus of this was it wasn't worth the money because the gains weren't much greater if at all than a drop in. Could someone chime in here please and confirm this or not?

Most people like the injen for the turbo sound and DV Sounding more like a BOV. The BMS intake also gives you similar sounds, maybe a few less ponies, but 200$ less expensive, clocking in at 199$ the BMS intake is solid choice over a drop in, but the Injen sounds amazing!

Everything I have read this far indicates that an upgraded intake does nothing in terms of performance. An upgraded intake may enhance certain sounds but that can come at a real cost in terms of performance through actually drawing in more unintended hitter air.
Is this right? |
