Hoping it was today, but was waiting on some important calls and may had to go sign a contract (starting that new business i told you about b4). Anyways, hopefully thurs-fri? I'm going to ask them how long it will take, do you think i should hang around there to keep an eye on things, or go hang out at memorial city mall?
something is always coming up its so crazy. two weeks ago, when my work was slow, Lawell Motors backed down. Now I find another place, and my work kicks in.... Hunter: enjoy your school days man. Thats all i can say. Hey, you off for summer? Lucky @#*!! Quote:

thanks but my wife has to go somewhere around there, and so i'll have her help me out. i'll give you a call though if my plans change.
But i was thinking of supervising them, because admittedly, they are not as well known as BHS, but from the little feedback i have gotten, they are good. I will decide how comfortable i am leaving the car alone when i get there. I hope they have WiFi if i plan to stick around. Quote:

no i didn't, i've been busy with work. however, i plan to go Tuesday. By then, my xenons should be in, so i'll have them take a look at installing that as well.
i will definitely keep you posted, and share my feedback on the process. Quote:

Hey, don't rub it in! Thats the best deal I found in Houston okay?
Not all of us are fortunate enough to enjoy the california climate and tuning by DTM. Quote:

This doesn’t help you out now, but for others that might be reading this topic it might. I looked into having springs installed after the purchase as well and ran into the same price issue, install and alignment around $700.00. I negotiated the install of springs that I provided to my dealer before I took delivery. I was able to get it all done for $400.00, and now if there is a problem it is my dealers problem, no pointing fingers down the line.
Anyway, hope that helps someone.

Few dealers will probably do that. I called several in Houston, and they wouldn't put lowering springs in a car. But you got a good deal considering it is a dealer's price.
but then again, there isn't a whole lot to installing springs from my experience. any decent shop, including corner gas service stations can do it. Quote:

Wow guys I was also thinking of swapping some coliovers on my E90 but man the installation is that expensive huh. Sigh, I ain't gonna lie, I came from Mitsubishi tuning and never really have much experience with the Euro ones. Not to mention I live in New Orleans, where there's very little chance that I will be able to find any shop would do this for me. I have already asked 2 of them, and they were all like "why dropping the BMW?? It's such a nice car already!!" Seriously, there aren't that many tuned BMWs around this area and man to find some experienced mechanics is even harder...... Gosh if it isn't for school, I would have moved out of this place alright....!!!! For now, I am stuck for at least another 3 years!!!!

I haven't done it yet... been meaning to. I any case, I was quoted $250 from a place, so if it works out, maybe you can make a trip to Houston and get it done.
