335 Owners: How often do you WOT?
The few times I go WOT from 20-30mph , I sometimes underestimate the effect of low end torque
Not so much at higher speeds... How about you?

As chicken-shxt as it sounds, the car is so strong that I really don't feel comfortable at WOT for more than a few seconds on public roads.
Usually it's pull out, get out of first gear asap, go WOT, shift to 3rd, lift and nervously look around for policia. |

Many times every day. If I wasn't going to use the power I would have bought a 328 :-)

That sums it up for me too except I start out in second. Most of the roads I drive on daily only have 35-45mph speed limit so it only takes a couple seconds of WOT an im speeding. Sure is fun though

Honestly I rarely need to, every now and then I open her up if I have some empty road, but that isn't very often in SoCal.

you know, I almost agree with you on this one. From most of the responses so far though, it shows that the high-end power from the car is hardly used, but it sure does feel good that we have a mid-size hammer under the hood, especially for highway speeds. So the question begs, why is one of the top 3 (non-cosmetic) mods a tune?

Enough that I can still justify choosing the 335. As mentioned above, I don't understand why one would choose an upgraded engine and then never use it.

I agree, but like 90% of the members in here thinks they have a race car and love to hone their inner mario andretti on public roads while thinking ultimate driving machine...must do.

I've seen too many of those at stoplights. I agree, it's anything but flattering.

I think there's a fine line. Ricer revving, making loud noise to get attention, and making an ass of yourself is one thing. A spirited departure on the other hand...

Indeed. I'm in need of new tires as well. I'm guessing I have 35% tread left. I'm planning to toss them at the end of the season and buy new ones next year. I guess that's a side effect of WOTing lol
