bmw e90 330d differences 56/07- 08 onwards
Hi people im wondering did the e46 330d engine get run in the e90 model? if so when did they change it upgrade it?
also ive found that the e90 330d 07 plate has different power rating to the e90 330d 08 plate onwards.... Does anyone know what was changed and why? this details are taken from parkers car guide.. Many Thanks |

yeah looking to change parkers guide shown between the 57 plate and the 08 plate there is a difference in bhp, so was wondering why and whats the differnce in engines.... 330d M Sport 4d 227 bhp 500 Nm 369 lb-ft 12 Sep 2005 - 31 Aug 2008 330d M Sport 4d 01 Sep 2008 - 31 Oct 2011 241 bhp 520 Nm 384 lb-ft this is my question why are they different and which is the better engine???? as im considering on buying 1 :-) |

The differences are all written on Wikipedia with links to each engine.
The newer cars have a newer engine. Which is better depends on your definition of better. Newer engines generally have more things that can go wrong but lower co2 and better fuel economy. All depends what you want and value. |
