have an '09 328i - buying used 189s + tpms ?

reading up on all this has me thinking about the tpms situation, and wanted to make sure i don't buy something and get stuck. i believe my build date was 2/09. would it be accurate to say the set of 189s i buy must come off an '09 to be safe? are '07s and '08s safe?

to be really safe, if i bought a complete set-up - wheels, tires and tpms, then is there anything i have to worry about?

thanks for everyone's patience. my last most recent bmw was an '03 - no such things...

Model Year (as shown on your vehicle registration, insurance paperwork, etc.) will decide which TPMS sensor. Build date = irrelevant.

TPMS changed for the 2010 model year. I bought BERU sensors from PYSpeed for my rim set up on my '09 328 and all is good

seems that the 2010s are different. so '09 and previous are interchangeable, yes?

THANKS, guys!

Correct. 07-09 TPMS sensors are interchangeable. Makes you wonder why BMW changed it in 2010...
