if the axle back drones with all 4 cats in place and you cannot stand it i would suggest you get rid of the UUC and get something else .

Anybody familiar with AR Design and how the CP-e offers a "stealth pipe"?
They claim it is for drone?!?! Experiences?

I'm actually having new hush resonators installed on friday instead of the CP-E ones to see if it makes a difference. I could care less about noise. i just wanted performance and free flow. While i understand i'd get some noise, i'm louder than my bro's 911 turbo with 100cell cats! |

Is yours the Corsa system? I know UUC makes one, but this is Corsa's with the UUC label on it as well... Simple axle back with all cats in place and a AT... No drone at all...

I have AR catless dps and AE performance catless exhaust. There is a very very slight rumble/drone at around 1500-1700 rpms and ONLY under load. I have 6mt car. I've put over 10K miles so far on this setup both stock and tuned and I have to tell you that it is very nice. If I goof off and forget to downshift, my rpms will drop into that 1500-1700 range and I will get a bit of a deep drone. ...but this is really my fault for not downshifting early to avoid it...

So nobody has info about the AR Stealth Pipes they offer with the CP-e exhaust as an option?!?!
Kind of ridiculous that everyone with an AT E92 335i Coupe has drone at the cost of upwards of $1900 for a catback exhaust.

In fact, I don't know anybody that has a catback exhaust and AT that doesn't drone at 2K rpm. Mine is a deep frequency from 1700-2100rpm. Of course daily driving, the AT spends about all of it's time, particularly on the thottle. I already have VR welded into the front portion of mine. It's why I asked if people have used/or had info about the Stealth Pipes AR offers with the CP-e exhaust. I asked AR and PM'd them, no response yet. Or, I was also thinking of trying another set of VRs put on and see how that does. Otherwise, my exhaust is pretty loud and really screams nicely above 2700rpm. Also, are you MT or AT?
