Coilover maintinance

How much maintinance is required how long do they last how often do you need to replace or or rebuild the strut?

depends on the components of the coilover. Some have bodies that are made of stainless steel, some don't, etc. depending on where you live, rust may be an issue.

Most consumer grade coilovers do not require regular service. some high end dampers do require routine checking and servicing, but most people don't need anything more than basic consumer grade stuff.

Depends what you use them for. If you STRICTLY track them twice a month then you should rebuild every couple of years to keep the performance. If you track regularly and drive on the streets, you should inspect/rebuild every 30k miles or so. If you just daily drive and never hit the track I would say every 50k, but then again you might just end up upgrading. Some coils aren't worth rebuilding. Rebuilding is for shocks like Ohlins, ASTs, and JRZs.

Coilovers

These are KW v1 that I will be putting on my DD. I live in TX no salt, or problems with rust. Thanks for any more info.

They don't require any maintenance and carry a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. The front springs will settle down after 500-2000 miles and may require a height adjustment and realignment; that's about it.

IMO inspect tracked coils every 10K or so, rebuild a high end set. For STs or V1s, I would just replace. When my STs go i'll swap them out to K2s.
