Cheap LCI lights!

One tin of red tint ,some masking tape,then a bit of DA polishing and looks not half bad!
Was just curious what would look like and no real intention of keeping it on but turned out far better than I expected so will stay.

Looks good! I thought about doing this or using tinting film. Did you spray them whilst on the car, and how were you planning on removing it afterwards?

Cheers mate,no took them
Off only 30 secs a side. Some thinners and cutting compound would have took it back off no problem.I just masked off the clear white part and gave it 3 coats.

this has been on my To do list, I've attempted to buy Lci lights twice but cant code the car

where did you buy the spray, ebay?

Coding the LCI lights can be a right ball ache and in quite a few cases requires a later model FRM so there's another £200 on top of the cost of the lights.

I'll do it today ,it makes it a bit darker to be honest but still acceptable in the eyes of the law lol

Just buy a LCI one...they are very easy to sale and keep its value very well anyway

Nah I'll pass on that,the premise of spending up to £600-700 to get a slightly different looking tail lights doesn't really do it for me!

Those figures are way out.

Bought mine for just over £300 due to the exchange rate, did the coding myself and sold my old lights for £120.

Brand new lamps and I take it you never needed an FRM?I replaced a smashed one on a customers car before and on side alone was just shy of £200
