For that amount of $$$, why don't they use flanges instead of slip fit connections?

My post had nothing to do with ownership of a Ferrari, the price of the exhaust, nor what you think I can and can't afford. It only related to the use of slip fit versus flanges. Furthermore,

I was actually watching that the other night, and yes I do have a sense of humor.

I've been sleep deprived with 2 1 month old twins, hence the deficiency of my sarcasm meter. That one went totally over my head.

Very similar to a Porsche exhaust because the rear-mid-engined layout doesn't lend itself to the conventional body-length exhaust system.
