Rolled Tire Well Question
Troops...need some help on this one.
I just had the following set-up installed on my 2008 E92 335i - VOLK TE37 +35 all around (19 x 9.5 - rear) - Yokohama 275/30/19 - rear The back tires are rubbing so the dealer took it to their the local shop who rolls the fenders for them. The guy said if he rolls it the tire wheel cover on the inside will not stay in place and therefore he recommends not rolling them. This cover is important because it protects electrical components and cannot or should not be removed. Those of you that have rolled fenders in the past how did you overcome this issue or is this guy incorrect? Thanks. SS

This guy is incorrect, many forum members roll their fenders with NO ill effect. As a matter of fact I have trimmed the inner fender liner many times and have seen NO such wires.

I haven't heard of or seen any such problems either.

Sounds like you have a great wheel set up going. That shop doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. Roll the fenders and enjoy your awesome setup.
