they're not oily and dirty because he cleaned the chain before stuck his hand in it. the bone popping out looked bad ass, shoulda kept it like that

similar thing happened to me when I was about 15, riding my BMX the chain came off and I bent down to put it back on, except my instinct was to pedal forward to help the chain, BAD mistake! luckily only two fingers got caught around the sprocket I had to pedal backwards to remove them!, and ride to my aunties as they hurt like f**k, didn't damage my fingers just two little holes through my nails, i'm 40 now and no signs of lasting damage but i'll never do it again .
