Aftermarket Rims - 19"
I'm a brand new BMW owner. My wife and I just bought a 335i convertible. Black sapphire, AT (for the wife),premium pkg, sport pkg, cold wx pkg, nav, aero, comfort access, and more radio options than we will ever use. Expected delivery date is 22 Aug so we're pretty excited.
We are looking to put aftermarket rims (19") and I was wondering what size tires people were finding worked the best. We're going for an aggressive look but nothing that's going to cause performance to suffer or cause any rubbing. I was looking at either 235/265 or 245/275 with 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the back. Anybody have any experience with these sizes or suggestions as to what works well on the e93s? I was looking at the Falken FK-452s for tires. Anybody had any problems with them? I was looking at the Michelin PS2s that I have on my G35 coupe but its about a $600 difference and I'd heard good things about the Falken's. Any help/advice on the subject is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

This is highly dependent on the offsets but generally I recommend a 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. There are some wheel options out there that you can get to fit with the 245/275 setup however you may need to roll your fenders if the offsets are not correct. To be safe, you can stick with the 235/265 setup for an aggressive look that will not rub.

Anyone know where to find these rims?
I found this picture on the web and I really like the rims. They look like the Breyton-Race CS rims but with a chrome finish. I can't find a site that offers the Breyton's in chrome, just super silver so I'm not sure if they are made by someone else. Does anyone know where to find these rims?

Suggest you venture here and look at some of the vendors that sell wheels:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=134 Yes F: 235/35/19x8.5 R: 265/30/19x9.5 is very very common.

Looking for some 19s
This is my first post and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback so first of all I wanted to say thanks for the help/insight. I'm looking for a chrome/hyper silver 19" rim for a new black e93. I really like the rims on the attached picture above but I'm unable to find them online. It doesn't matter if it has a lip or not and I'm not too concerned with being the only guy to have them. I've seen a lot of rims after searching for a few hours and I really like the above rims and the CSL's, but the CSL's I've found haven't been shiny enough for my wife...and since I'm buying the car for her I've gotta listen to her on this one. I'm looking to find something in the $2K ball park or less if I can get something quality. Any pics/links are appreciated. Thanks for all the help.

I am running Falken 452 (Overall great quality tires, quiet, great pricing, overall I am very, very happy with it.)
235/35/19 Front 275/30/19 Rear Wheel specs are - 2pc iForged Daytona 19x8.5 - 19x10 (offsets unknown) I am on stock suspension and do not rub. I like most of the iForged line it would probably look good on your e93 (try contacting Dan@the mod city on this forum, he is very helpful with answering any question you may have) The wheels sit perfectly flushed and is aggressive enough, the only downside is that I already have a few rock pits after a month of slapping them on. Hope this info helps, good luck and enjoy your e93! Kevin
