Below is the link to my thread and also the description I first posted.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ghlight=60-130

Finally got my hands on a vbox and did some runs tonight in Mexico.

I have a 2007 6at e92 with 52,000 miles on the odo. And I'm running Map4 on the newest at the time Stg3 Aggressive procede beta maps at the default settings (65% boost/100% IC on map 2). Shifting with the paddles at 6000RPM. Starting to accelerate in 3rd gear around 40mph. Then upshifting twice at 6000rpm.ip

I did 3 back to back runs. All recorded in the same log file. My times were 9.07, 9.19 and 9.30. I guess even meth cars aren't totally immune to heatsoak! Each run had a decline of less than the 3% max allowed. I'll email the vbox file to Mr.5 for verification and to double-check my math. Still running full weight (although I have a carbon fiber trunk lid). I think I can break into the 8s if I did some basic weight reduction (seats out!). I have a procede datalog of a 8.9s 60-130mph run but it turned out that the decline was -3.5% I've attached both the vbox log and the procede datalog if anyone wants to look them over.

The biggest difference with these new maps compared to the previous maps is that boost is lower (17-19psi peak dropping to 14-15psi by 6000rpm) and power between 5000-6000rpm is ridiculous! Low end torque is amazing too. When I was starting the run in 3rd gear at around 40mph, I would even get serious wheelspin that sometimes lasted until past 60mph . I think just going with some stickier rubber would help. Oh and it was a nice cool night mid 50s.

List of upgrades:
Procede rev.3
Vishnu PWM Meth (80/20). Also added 2 gallons of 100oct to 2 gallons of 91.
AA catless dp
Vishnu cat-back (but added high flow secondary cats)
Helix FMIC
Vishnu DCI
Forge DVs

All seats in the car
Pretty good run! Glad you have the vbox to gauge your car and see the numbers you can generate. The results will be be pretty consistent unless you change something. Slopes definitely help too. A 1.9% slope helps me about .3-.4 seconds. But good stuff..glad your doing this because the numbers dont lie. And I think this is more representative of street perfomance than the dragstrip which prioritizes your launch.

I get use of a friends Vbox whenever I actually ask to use it. These runs were done full weight back in October, with original aggressive maps when my dyno was 435whp. I really have not had a chance to test my car as aggressively and consists tangly as you do. I wish we had less cops more open roads and most of all the topime to do so. These were my first 60-130 runs with this car and haven't tried them since. Let's see if I can finally get around to doing some more testing. Did you go to Sacramento today? Eric was there he ran an 11.6sec 121mph 1.9xx (60'). I was gonna go but my wife woke up sick and I had my 2 year old all day.

No..I had to watch my 2yr old today too. After testing and still seeing 20:1 afr spike on nitrous..I decided it was not safe to go..especially with no shot a 10's. Good thing though.at 2:30pm Eric said a car went flipping over the wall. He left after that. I am going after the diesel record in my 2011 335d..(already ran 12.9 down here). I am also getting ready for testing on the new n20 four cylinder when they come out soon to replace the 2008 335i. So I have been busy returning this car to stock. Im just glad I got to thoroughly test the capabilities of this car.

Eric said there was a tune.pulley.header CTSV there. Ran 12.5 at 115. A new 550i ran 13.3 at 107mph. Puts into perspective how remarkable our cars are trapping 120mph+.

Sorry to hear you're moving away from the N54 I had really hoped you'd be the first to hit 10s given how much work you've put into testing.

I will definitely miss the N54. And if the 335is came with a steptronic..that would be my next car. I would love a 135m with a step too. But they dont even make the 1M anymore. Would have been nice with that LSD though. The N20 will be more of the family car since we are looking forward to the slightly larger interior. The diesel is absolutely a blast to drive in town with its effortless torque. Today I took off fast..felt kind of like the I was smoothly hazing the tires and sure enough, I look in my rear view mirror and there were two black streaks.

Yep, I got the file and just verified that it has a 2.8% slope.
Great job and nice run.

Truth. My car loses as much as .5 seconds on back to back to back runs. If you're going to run an NA car, you only have one shot to beat him, otherwise the car loses a TON of power.

I have been testing map 7 on my JB4. Unfortunately it's almost constantly raining around here, plus I have to drive 200 miles to get some proper 102 octane fuel that's affordable, so I don't have that many shots. I had to give up on a 3rd + 4th gear pull because of wheel spin, however I did manage a "4th gear only" 60-130 run. I have included the JB4 log, I was actually testing for ignition retard and a boost leak, but I ended up having to go to 5th and 6th gear to avoid wheel spin (and "contaminated" logs).

As you can see the slope was just 0.7%, and I even lost some boost along with the loss of traction because of the slight wheel spin at peak boost. I am confident I could easily get into the 9's in 4th gear alone with just a dry road, not to mention a little more slope.

In the spring or on a dry winters day, whichever comes first, I'm sure I'll get into the 8's on map 7. And this is still without meth. I think this baby is really going to rock when I'll be able to afford a set of RB's

Mods are same as in my 9.51 run, just map 7 in stead of map 2 on the JB4 and Aral 102 Ultimate fuel in stead of Shell V-power 99 (EU ratings)

Managed to do 9.39 60-130 last night with a headwind. 1.3% slope. Will post pics later tonight. I also had a 9.19 60-130 but it was a 3.2% slope, no good.

I am full weight rwd 335i auto.

Boost was 18.5 psi tapering to 13.5. FBO + meth.

Yes, it's my wastegates probably, and sometimes it causes a temporary 30FF code, and I sent som logs to Terry, and he suggested to do the 15 ohm mod on my JB4, I just haven't gotten around to it yet, and since it's very cold and slippery here for the next 2-3 months I'm not really in any hurry.

Hoping to upgrade to RB's in the summer, that should take care of the wastegates nce and for all....

speed delimiter is in the mail so ill be able to post up some new times soon. I removed my ski rack and did some testing tonight up to the speed limiter (130mph on the speedo which is only 121mph on the vbox) tonight with encouraging results (on meth). can't wait to post up the new times!

Getting quicker! New fastest time for me. I wish there were more XI's doing this so I could see how it really stacked up.

Completely full weight, with snow tires! (terrifying). I messed up and bogged the shift so a better time will be coming soon... but for now this is my best.

60-130: 9.82 seconds
decline: 2%
gas: 1/4 tank shell 93 octane
meth: Boost Juice (50/50 water/meth) + few bottles of HEET. FAR from ideal, when i get some pure meth and mix it myself i'll have better results

For an XI I think that time is great! My only logged time of 11.98 seconds was with the car not running well so I've been wanting to try again. Trapping 117.5 on the vbox last night I wanted to keep in it but was coming up to a bend so I quit ~122. I don't see getting my JB4 + Meth + DCI setup below a mid 11 right now for 60-130, maybe a high 10 if I removed the seats.

Can you break it down so I can see the 60-100 and 100-130 from your run? Curious to see how you're doing on the later half.

Not many XI guys with vbox so small pool to compare to, what an awesome tool though, love the vbox!

* Was just looking at my vbox graphs of a few runs, looks like my best 60-100 is 5.14 and 100-130 is 6.26. Your 60-100 is faster, looks like close to 0.5s and 100-130 is probably 1 second faster.

Well my HPFP keeps cutting out right around 105-110 so no 60-130 times, but I did do a brake boost at about 45mph in 3rd for a 60-100 time...had some effect

60-100: 4.76s (wow!)

Have to figure out why I am triggering a fuel pump code and get that fixed so I can try for a 10.9x time, can't believe the brake boost had that much effect. I was previously starting at about 55 in 3rd and just gunning it, I guess my boost builds slower than I thought that way.

Yes, should be like that for awhile too unless they break on me

I'll wire up the nitrous this weekend with a small shot and see how that does on 60-100. Until I can get my HPFP and Torque Converter issues worked out I won't be doing anything from a standstill or above 100.
