Gearbox coding needed? Diff changed from 3.64 to 3.46

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for your help and advise as had to replace differential mechanism in my E93 (325iA - N53) from the standard 3.64 ratio for automatic to 3.46 which is used in i.e. E92, E91, E90 automatic with same engine.

What worries me is that due to the ratio change the automatic gearbox switches to next gear too early and keeps the engine at too low revs.

Would you please let me know if it's possible and needed to reprogram gearbox to have the same program as used in E92/E91/E90 with same engine/gearbox and running by default on 3.46 final ratio?

Thanks in advance!
