I'm already salivating at the thought of another meet with all of you guys and gals again, plus the others that were unable to attend. Seriously, I loved all of the cars and all of my new friends, along with the old ones. I'm up anytime anywhere with you guys...time to start planning Ohio October-Festivus BMW!!! Yeah, that (GM) guy was a major douche! He was just so unprofessional, and I almost botch smacked him for the way he talked to Jarelle! Looking forward to our next event...time to start planning guys..and gals! Curt, you did an amazing job at the museum, thanks so much for giving that tour and telling us some really great stories! Everyone was so great to be around, it was a great time and a very successful event. Thanks everyone for making it so great!

So everyone, the big question looms...when are we wanting to plan for Ohio (and surrounding areas) BMW OctoberFestivus 2009?!? Everyone was talking fall, but it needs a date, ideas for location, etc, etc, etc. Or we could just wait til next spring...sorry I just had to say it as Jarelle, Mike and I are pretty wore out and really need a few weeks off (well at least I do)

But we can at least start brainstorming with everyone.

I move we call our gatherings "Bimmer Festivus", and then identify the particular meet by some additional descriptor, like this past one might have been Summer Bimmer Festivus (I like the rhyme and rhythm)

One in October could be Okto Bimmer Festivus (cause it kinda sounds German)

and when we do one that's held in some special place, we could put the place name in it (so this past one, if held in the spring at the Greene could have been called Greene Bimmer Festivus.

And we could get a nice 10 foot banner made that says Bimmer Festivus, that could have the particular event name added somewhere on it, above it, next to it. And the sign would have to reflect this forum's address somewhere on it (that way, maybe the forum would help with the cost)

I checked the Ohio Secretary of State and there's no one using Festivus, so I think we could get it registered and therefore have exclusive use to the name in Ohio (unless someone already has a national copyright on it).

As for October date, I vote for any weekend other than 17 & 18, because I'll be at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California and Laguna Seca historic races!

And the rest of us need to chip in and help more!

Will Easton block off some space in the middle of everything like they did at the Greene as opposed to just having us out in some distant parking lot or garage? Sounds like a good location though. I'm up for it. Just not the end of Sept because I'll be in Germany.
