Sorry chaps but I didn't mean to suggest any news or rumour that wasn't already out there. COBB already said "...some development has begun on n55" even while they are saying no ETA.

Tell you what though. if they've cracked the ECU why don't you ask if they have a stock/ stg0 ecu map but with linear throttle? they seem to be pretty responsive and this is risk-free really.

e.g. here>>>>

@COBBTUNING When are you guys going to release something for BMW's N55? I can't wait!

@malapropism1 Hopefully soon! We are working hard to provide support, I know the N55 owners are ready for more COBB power!

[QUOTE=bimmer35;10937468]Try the velocity throttle controller, back in asia these are very popular, more so than sprint booster, once you start driving with them, its hard to drive without it. im waiting for my trip back to asia and bringing one back for my car.

Highly illeagel here!

They did some testing here and found out that it increases accident probabillity...

And i don't think that it is the right approach to the problem...

Because it would be a waste of time for them to release a tune that would just alter the throttle mapping. You're note exactly going to have people rushing to place orders for an $895 COBB tune that gives no performance gains
