Resonator delete with full divorced pipes= Loud as Hell

Automatic Car

My exhaust set-up:
RR: Catted Downpipes
OEM Exhaust with Resonator Delete w/ Divorced Pipes

This thing is loud. Too loud for my taste and sounds un-refined almost Honda ebay tin-cannish. Would an X-Pipe help balance out the sound or should I just stick the stock resonator back on?

Does "Divorced" mean no crossover between twin pipes ?

Reversing the golf tee mod would be a no-no if OP's exhaust setup has no interconnection between LH and RH outlets.

If there is no cross over between the twin pipes running the length of the car then no golf tee mod would essential block one of the pipes, without any diversion for exhaust gases to go.

Academic as it reads like there's no flapper valve on LH outlet.

had the golf tee mod and sounded good. I wanted more and did the resonator delete now it sounds crummy. Listened to sound clips of other members deletes and sounded good. Guess every car is different. Resonator going back on...

i have the e92 and it does drone a little. Not sure if the E90 has drone or not, but it is pretty minimal and sounds pretty good.
