For an aftermarket one, the fitment is great!

i got it from a local autoparts warehouse. unfortunately they do not ship and only sell to bodyshops with wholesale accounts. i am very happy with fitment.

So did your car have the regular cheap replaceable bulb style lights? And the new ones are factory angel eyes and they drop in no programming?

Sorry for the amazingly redundant question but I have heard you have to code, etc if you switch to ring style lights.

I have the cheap lights and would love to replace them.

PM me also in case I forget about this thread.

Ok so im brand new to this site and just purchased an 07' 328i Sedan. I am very interested in making to LCI conversion and luckily my best friend from childhood just took over his family business, an auto recycler/junkyard.

I have read though this entire thread and have a few questions before I start to make this happen.

I have the xenon lights on my 07', can I just buy 2010 e90 xenon and make the swap error free?

In regards to the LCI hood...if I have my friend order me an aftermarket 2010 328 hood, will it fit? If not, what was so special about the one you purchased freon480?

In order to install the LCI taillights I need to first have an LCI deck lid, correct? If so, can I just use a deck lid from a 2010 e90?

Lastly, what other LCI changes can be made besides head and tail lights...and hood and decklid...anything else?

Thanks!

no you can not. you will need coding for the led turnsignals

the only thing special about mine is that through trial and error i can honestly say that this one fits the best out of the others i have tried. not many aftermarket companies capa certify their euro parts so its more or less a gamble or buy from someone you know has one that fits not all are created equal

In order to install the LCI taillights I need to first have an LCI deck lid, correct? If so, can I just use a deck lid from a 2010 e90?
yes i prefer to use the pre 01/09 lids as there were 6 months of manufacture with the whole for the manual key lock which i prefer to keep. some do not care.

Lastly, what other LCI changes can be made besides head and tail lights...and hood and decklid...anything else?
tons search and you shall find cup holders, radio knobs, mirrors side skirts bumpers wheels.........it never freakin ends.lol

Thanks!
there ya go
